Donations

You can help the children of the Port Reitz School!

For £105 per year you can give a handicapped child a brighter future. This will give them a full years education and is inclusive of boarding and 4 uniforms.

Neema Karisa

Neema Karisa & fam. Thörig

In 2006 Neema entered the school as an uncertain little mouse. She is now thanks to the support of her sponsors and teachers, a self-confident girl with a future!

A child that can't walk is dependent on a wheelchair. For £130 a child will get a fully adapted wheelchair and will not have to crawl anymore. The wheelchairs are locally manufactured in Bombolulu. Bombolulu is a workshop set up by and for handicapped people.

Evans Mwadzombo finally, after 17 years got his own custom-made wheelchair.

It is a necessity that the children get a more balanced diet consisting of fruit, vegetable, milk, meat and eggs. For around £7 only the school can purchase 200 bananas or 250 oranges. For each child one piece.

There is also a great need for soap, washing powder, tooth brushes, tooth paste, etc.: this to improve their personal hygiene. By washing their hands with water and soap the hygienic situation at the school has improved and the number of children that are getting sick has been reduced. Therefore it is very important to carry on!

A bar of soap only costs 25p in Kenya. So you see, even a small donation can make a big difference. The children and the school need your help badly!

The children of the Port Reitz School thank you very much for your support.
